FAQ
1) When is it coming out?
I'm not really sure other than sometime this year, so just assume December 31st at midnight to be safe.
2) Will it support custom assets?
You can import your own custom backgrounds, evidence, songs, and sound effects. I'm working on custom characters, but they probably won't make it into the initial release.
3) What platforms will it release on?
It's going to be available on Windows and Mac.
4) Are you going to add X to the game?
If it's previously been in an Ace Attorney game, then I'll probably get to it at some point. For the initial release, the game will let you create investigations, cross-examinations, psyche-lock segments, and perception. If it hasn't previously been in an Ace Attorney game, then I have no clue.
5) What song did you use for the trailer?
I used Gyakuten Saiban 3 ~ Special Blend Mix! More specifically, the sections that play at around the 2:55 and 4:46 marks. Capcom used this song a lot while advertising the DS releases of the Phoenix Trilogy, so I felt it appropriate to use it as well.
6) Are you worried that it's going to get DMCA'd?
From what I've seen, Capcom hasn't really cared about fangames. Mega Man Maker, objection.lol, Ace Attorney Online, etc, have all existed for years without Capcom's intervention. I realize that by saying this I'm tempting the fates, but I'm not worried about a takedown notice.
7) Will there be support for exporting scenes as videos?
Not at launch. If enough people ask for it, it might get added in an update.

Are there any chances of scenes & Characters from Dual Destinies or Spirit of Justice down the line? I have read the FAQ section, but I am more curious about the 3DS content because it seems like it might be harder to implement? I'm sure you'll most likely get to it at some point though.
...Of course I type that and then realize that the Apollo Justice Trilogy exists on Switch. So maybe the stuff from Dual Destinies & Spirit of Justice could be seen? Just maybe not right away.

Out of curiosity, are there plans to include a forensics feature at some point in the future, like the one in Apollo Justice and "Rise From The Ashes"?

We all are. Please be polite about it. This kind of software takes a long time to develop, and the developer also has a life outside of developing it. We must be patient.

It will only be on Windows and Mac. So if you happen to have a windows phone, you could be able to play it.
Are there going to be cross-examinations? It's not stated anywhere on the page and I didn't see anything like that in the reveal trailer

As said in their reddit post, custom characters, evidence etc will be an ability to use.
Where is this reddit post may I ask? Because I can't seem to find it anywhere no matter how hard I search.
IDK about Reddit, but they also address this in the pinned comment of the YouTube video at the top of the page. Basically, they want to have custom characters eventually, but it won't be at launch. Other custom files, like backgrounds and items, should be available before custom characters are, though.
