FAQ
1) When is it coming out?
The current planned release date is December 28th.
2) Will it support custom assets?
You can import your own custom backgrounds, evidence, songs, and sound effects. I'm working on custom characters, but they probably won't make it into the initial release.
3) What platforms will it release on?
It's going to be available on Windows and Mac.
4) Are you going to add X to the game?
If it's previously been in an Ace Attorney game, then I'll probably get to it at some point. For the initial release, the game will let you create investigations, cross-examinations, and psyche-lock segments. If it hasn't previously been in an Ace Attorney game, then I have no clue.
5) What song did you use for the trailer?
I used Gyakuten Saiban 3 ~ Special Blend Mix! More specifically, the sections that play at around the 2:55 and 4:46 marks. Capcom used this song a lot while advertising the DS releases of the Phoenix Trilogy, so I felt it appropriate to use it as well.
6) Are you worried that it's going to get DMCA'd?
From what I've seen, Capcom hasn't really cared about fangames. Mega Man Maker, objection.lol, Ace Attorney Online, etc, have all existed for years without Capcom's intervention. I realize that by saying this I'm tempting the fates, but I'm not worried about a takedown notice.
7) Will there be support for exporting scenes as videos?
Not at launch. If enough people ask for it, it might get added in an update.

No.
Will this support more languages？Such as Chinese.Not every people can understand English well.If not,there would be less people can use it well.
Can I switch fonts or use the Japanese two-line dialog box?
I think that giving an option to export as a video is very useful, it would help to popularize this tool.

If it doesn't support exporting at last, maybe you can record the screen instead?(though it has worse effect)
Will there be the ability to alter character names? Such as, to have Godot speaking, but the text box say his name is "Steve"?
It's decently common in fan games and videos to change character names, sometimes for jokes. A lot of Ace Attorney videos online have the characters speaking out Twitter or Tumblr threads, and rename the lawyers as the usernames.

They never appeared in the mobile version of Trilogy. What are you talking about?
I meant as they appeared in their original trilogy (Curious Village, Pandora's Box, Lost Future), as opposed to the crossover. I probably could've worded that part a bit better. Sorry about that!

Is there any chance of supporting 3D models in the future?
If it is possible, I'm sure you can replicate camera views like in SoJ and DD, as well as TGAA too.
Also, will it be possible to support accurate DS graphics too?
im super excited for when this comes out! i know tools like aaonline already exist but the high quality ui this has and your clear regard for ease of use makes this a super exciting product. i understand you mention custom characters likely being absent from the finished project but is there any chance of leaving some available tools for us to figure it out ourselves so to speak? if learning unity for example is what it takes then im sure many would be willing to try

Are there any chances of scenes & Characters from Dual Destinies or Spirit of Justice down the line? I have read the FAQ section, but I am more curious about the 3DS content because it seems like it might be harder to implement? I'm sure you'll most likely get to it at some point though.
...Of course I type that and then realize that the Apollo Justice Trilogy exists on Switch. So maybe the stuff from Dual Destinies & Spirit of Justice could be seen? Just maybe not right away.
